You are now entering the Control layer

Construction Industry : Control Layer

Your access to the Comply X Vault Control layer has been confirmed.

This layer builds on your existing Construction Record system and installs active control over risk, incidents, and compliance.

What has been activated

You now have access to the Construction Control system.

This system ensures that records are not just stored, but actively managed and updated.

• Control logs and registers

• Incident and issue tracking

• Regular review discipline

• Evidence of ongoing compliance

The Control layer assumes that your Record layer is in place.

If required records are missing, controls cannot be applied correctly.

Complete the Record layer before proceeding.

Before you continue

Step 1 : Create the Control folder

Inside your existing Vault folder, create a new sub-folder named:

Inside your existing Vault folder, create a new sub-folder named:

02_Control

This folder will hold all control logs and active registers.

Step 2 : Download your Construction Control pack

Download the Construction Control installation pack using the button below.

This pack installs the operational Control layer used to manage inspections, incidents, monitoring, and site control routines.

This pack contains:

• control logs

• inspection checklists

• incident registers

• monitoring templates

• operational control tools

• README setup instructions

One-time installation access.

Your Vault remains yours permanently after download.

Step 3 : Install the Control tools

Extract the downloaded files.

Move all Control documents into:

ComplyX_Construction_Vault / 02_Control

Do not mix Control files with Records.

Each layer must remain separate.

How the Control layer works

Control is not about paperwork.

It is about routine.

Logs are updated weekly or monthly.

Incidents are recorded when they happen.

Reviews are signed off regularly.

If it is not logged, it did not happen.

Incidents and inspections

Construction sites are inspected without warning.

The Control layer ensures:

• incidents are recorded immediately

• corrective actions are documented

• inspection questions can be answered calmly

Keeping the Control layer active

Active Vault access helps your Control layer remain aligned with inspection expectations, operational routines, and structured control management.

This includes:

• updated control registers

• updated inspection tools

• updated checklists

• improved monitoring structures

• ongoing operational refinements

Your Vault remains yours.

Comply X maintains the operational structure behind it.

If access stops, your existing controls remain yours, but future updates and refinements stop.

Month-to-month active access for ongoing Control layer updates and operational improvements.

Monthly Vault Maintenance

Annual Vault Maintenance

Twelve months of uninterrupted Control layer maintenance and operational alignment.

Preparing for the Audit layer

The Control layer creates the evidence, used by the Audit layer.

Without Control, Audit readiness is not possible.

Remember

Records show what exists.

Control shows what is managed.

In construction, unmanaged risk becomes liability.
